Fellowship Meal - 5:30 PM

Everyone is invited to eat with us; no reservations are required. These meals wouldn't be possible without home-cooked dishes brought by our Meek church family and donations! All donations contribute to making the meals possible. Sign-ups to bring a dish can be located both at the Welcome Center and the "Wed Night Meals" message group on the App. It's an excellent opportunity to Love, Connect, AND Serve ... all at the same time!!

The Way of Wisdom: A Study of Proverbs

- Ladies' Study

The book of Proverbs describes godly wisdom as a path that leads to life and flourishing. It also warns of the folly of worldly wisdom as a path that leads to the grave. Every day we face the choice between the true riches of God’s instruction or the fool’s gold of earthly pleasures and pursuits. How often do we call to mind the wisdom found in the sayings of Proverbs to shed light on the path before us? How relevant do we even believe these ancient words are to our modern world?
In The Way of Wisdom - Bible Study Book with Video Access, Bible teachers Jen Wilkin, Ruth Chou Simons, Kelly Minter, Adrienne Camp, Elizabeth Woodson, and Courtney Doctor invite you to place your feet firmly on the path of life revealed in the book of Proverbs. As you consider wisdom principles on everyday topics like words, work, friendship, marriage, parenting, neighborliness, money management, leadership influence, and more, you’ll discover the wisdom of Proverbs as an invitation to steadily walk God’s way in God’s world.

Study facilitated by Jen Sparks in MBC Ladies' Ministry Room.

From Captivity to the Wilderness

- Childrens' Study 6:00PM-7:30PM

This is for potty-trained children, 3 yrs. old through 6th grade.
Students will meet at 6:00 in the children's classroom after finishing their meal in the fellowship hall and cleaning up their dishes and table. At 6:20, we will begin with worship and a lesson from The Gospel Project - a weekly Bible study that helps all ages dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. This Curriculum is:
  • Christ Centered Bible Study - Every story points back to Jesus.
  • Heart Transforming - Encourages true transformation that comes from the gospel.
  • Age Aligned - Participants each week will study the same scripture.
  • Chronological Bible Study- Study the Bible in order, from Genesis to Revelation.
  • Theologically Rich - All lessons are doctrinally sound.
  • Missionally Minded - Calls participants to respond by sharing and living out the gospel.
This Semester's Focus: From Conquest to Kingdom - By God’s power, grace, and provision, Israel finally entered the land of Canaan. Yet, despite His people’s victory in battle, their disobedience proved their hearts were not victorious over sin. Through the judges and the family line of Ruth, God showed that He takes sin seriously and that a greater Judge and Redeemer was needed to restore the loss sin brings.
